Florenzi Shoe Care

Shoe Care

At Florenzi, every pair of shoes is handcrafted using carefully selected materials and traditional shoemaking techniques. With proper care, your shoes will not only maintain their appearance but will also develop character over time, becoming even more beautiful with wear.

We recommend regular cleaning, conditioning, and proper storage to preserve the quality of the leather and extend the lifespan of your footwear. Using shoe trees, rotating your shoes between wears, and protecting them from excessive moisture are simple habits that can significantly improve durability and comfort.

While each material may benefit from specific care methods, the general principles remain the same: keep your shoes clean, allow them to dry naturally, nourish the leather when needed, and store them correctly. By following these recommendations, your Florenzi shoes can remain a timeless part of your wardrobe for many years to come.

Full Grain Calf Leather

Our premium calf leather develops a beautiful patina over time. Regular brushing and conditioning with a quality shoe cream will nourish the leather, maintain its suppleness, and preserve its elegant appearance.

Suede Leather

Suede requires gentle care to maintain its soft texture. Use a suede brush regularly to remove dirt and restore the nap. Apply a suede protector spray before first wear and reapply periodically for added protection.

Painted Vitello Leather

Painted Vitello features a hand-finished patina that gives each pair a unique character. Clean with a soft cloth and nourish occasionally with a neutral cream. Avoid abrasive products that may affect the hand-painted finish.

Pebble Grain Leather

Pebble grain leather is naturally durable and resistant to daily wear. Brush regularly and apply a nourishing cream to keep the leather hydrated and looking its best.

Patent Leather

Patent leather requires minimal maintenance. Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and finish with a patent leather conditioner to maintain its signature high-gloss shine.

Leather Soles

Leather soles offer exceptional elegance and comfort. Avoid excessive exposure to water during the first few wears and allow them to dry naturally if they become wet.

Rubber Soles

Rubber soles require little maintenance. Simply clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and preserve their appearance.

Shoe Trees & Storage

We recommend using cedar shoe trees after every wear to absorb moisture, maintain the shoe's shape, and extend its lifespan. Store your Florenzi shoes in the provided dust bags when not in use.

First Wear & Rotation

Allow your shoes to rest for at least 24 hours between wears. Rotating your footwear helps preserve both the leather uppers and the internal structure, ensuring years of comfort and elegance.
